Description : The CanMatrix resource is a series of scanned maps of Canada at scales of 1:50000 and 1:250000. The geocoded files are available in a UTM projection, North American Datum 1983. The Centre for Topographic Information has created a national database composed of this raster map data. This is the first digital product for Northern Canada offering a map image at these scales. These data can be used as a raster map backdrop for various applications.
Accessing the Data : Access is available via the World Wide Web
Use Restriction: For use by Ryerson University faculty, students and staff for academic teaching and non-commercial research. Read appropriate licensing agreement for further information.
Permissions : Users are required to sign an NRCan Data Release Agreement. Proper citation of the data are required.
